: These gorgeous Mexican tree bark painting definitely needed a splash of bright colour to go with the folk and bold style they are famous for. All of them have a portion of white throughout so we have used a wider trim of white matboard inside to create more space, lift the colours and "open up" the artworks. To retain the individuality of each piece we have chosen a different bright coloured matboard for the middle matboard. This has also matched the folk aspect. The top mat has been chosen to match the bark colour in the background which in effect makes the joyous bright colours pop beautifully!
