: The owner of this super detailed artwork wished wished to have a framing without matboard. We have chosen an superb Italian frame with almost brassy look which worked great because it picked up the details in the ship and brought up the blues. To add more grandeous we have added a thinner matte golden frame inside to balance off the strong golden colour of the funnel that dominates the painiting.
