: A thick frame was requested for this stunning miniature beach scene painting. What we aimed for was to extend the experience of them - being at the beach and looking out to the ocean - to everyone who views this artwork. Therefore we've chosen a sandy colour frame (also nicely light to its proportion) paired with a green/grey lining inside to pick up the green and gray shadows.
